  1. Hello esteemed members of Lodge! Welcome to yet another Guild Report We have a lot to cover, so let's start! New Officer Announcements As we are growing, our needs for managerial staff also grows. It's my pleasure to welcome two new PvE Trainer/Inspector Officers to the guild: @vsar for Magicka DD roles, @Bigevilpeter for Stamina DD roles. Welcome guys! It's nice having you with us, and thanks for considering to help out! Those who have joined us and are pending inspection: Stamina builds please contact @Bigevilpeter for inspection. Magicka builds please contact @Knight30 or @vsar. Healers and Tanks - @mooslacker is your guy! Unfortunately, due to real-life issues, @Nefaras had to step down from Officer position for the time being - so, please do not contact him for any inspections! Welcome to New Recruits And of course, since our last report, we've had large number of people joining our ranks. Our welcomes go to @MadAxemen, @Huleeya, @DemonLorD92, @shoot8me, @Jpages, @Dabalya, @Fedaykin, @vsar, @Feleran, @Helethen, @nemixia, @vandamonia, @Shaenaki, @Gomorha, @Coud, @CampbellLawson, @Flyntlocke, @Apraxia, @Pauley_Mccoy, @Galazon, @Hawie, @Furycane, @SeRuM, @Xarthisius, @AMtoPM, @Garretmia, @Livf, @OBCallum, @NFGBobbatta, @Stormcream, @VanIliriagon, @Redlight, @Verther, @Jaynoel, @AcidicAcid and @Cleaver! Thanks for joining guys! PvE Midgame Events As you know, few months ago we started our PvE project, with its initial phase of Midgame content (DLC Veteran Dungeons and vDSA). Our events running everyday, and with great completion rates. Our guys are getting hang of hard encounters, at the same time training and farming for gear. Thank you to everyone who have been participating in these events in a regular base! It means great lot to us, especially in these early stages of our PvE endeavors. Alas, although we've grown quite well, the number of parallel runs don't seem grow as well, mostly due to many of our members not participating in events as we agreed during recruitment. With passing Ramadan, during which we had little bit slow down, we expected attendances to grow as well - but this time around, football championship kicked in. Regardless all these real life setbacks, starting the end of this week, we will be evaluating our attendance statistics once again. To that end, until the end of this week, I'd like to ask those who haven't been so active during events to start signing up please! We also have had a good number of new recruits. Those who haven't had a chance to get inspected and cleared for events, please do so as soon as possible. It's imperative you get that sorted out very soon and start joining our events, so please don't delay! PvE Normal Trials Farming For past few weeks, we've been scheduling Normal Trial runs as well, for farming purposes. On frontpage of our forums, we have a poll, asking which nTrials you guys need to farm - so please don't forget voting there (please update your votes as you farm your gear!). Normal Trials happen at early hours - mostly before Midgame Content events, and last for 1.5 - 2 hrs in general. Attending them is not mandatory, but well recommended, if you need a piece of gear from them, for future Veteran Trials. Also please note that, attendance to nTrials does not count towards minimum weekly attendance requirements (because these events aren't organized well enough to be tracked, and they exist only to help you folks to farm some entry-level gear). PvE Veteran Trials This week, we also started planning the future of our PvE: veteran mode Trials. This week we will be making preparations and hopefully by the next week, we will be scheduling them on our calendar. We will be doing some checks to make sure guild is ready for them: some inspections here and there, some checking on members etc etc. More news on this regard will follow in coming days. Guild Hall (@Glevissig's Primary Housing) As I stated before in the dedicated Guild Hall topic, we have numerous coolness installed in our Guild Hall. Crafting Stations, Training Dummy, alongside with countless premium furniture all over the place. Of course the place isn't in it's final stages yet - I have many ideas about it, which I hope to realize in near future. In the meantime though, we need some mats to craft housing items - primarily simple Style Materials (such as Bone, Obsidian etc) and Daedra Hearts. Also every weekend, I am buying housing items from Luxury Items Vendor in Coldharbour, which really cost a fortune (every week 100k+ gold in average). That's why we are open to donations of mats and gold to the Guild Bank. With all these, I plan to make our Guild Hall an exotic place to enjoy, full with tools and stations we need. Hopefully, in future, if real Guild Halls get implemented into the game, I will move all these stuff to that place. Guess that's it for now! See you guys in yet another issue! -- Gelmir
  2. Hello fellas! Welcome to yet another issue of our weekly newsletter! Let's start! Welcome to New Members! We've had several new players joining our ranks this past week. Please welcome @Nexi Ardat, @Krazuk, @Kayrash, @Heathen Bastard, @orcwithacub, @Yetified, @Doc.Ainz, @emzynai and @Mahir Cymru! Thanks for joining folks! We also had few members returning to the guild: @G50 and @Briuce - welcome back guys! PvE Midgame Phase-1: Regular Guild Events As you know, our new guild direction is going through small-scale tough content, at the end creating skilled, tightly knit group of players, who hopefully one day form a successful and self-sustaining veteran trials Raid Core. To that end, I've been scheduling events on our guild calendar in a regular basis. The week before, we started well; and this week, we had several successful "get-together"s. Tackled couple of DLC dungeons, had blast in Imperial Sewers and today we plan to go for vDSA. Please keep signing up for these events as much as possible! And my sincerest thanks to everyone who participated! Thank you guys! Although we had a good run this week, I couldn't help but notice that several members didn't sign up for any events this past week. Since the goal is full guild mobilization, please sign up to these events as described above! And of course, as always, I expect some people might leave the guild because of this "non-casual" activeness of the guild. And I will be scheduling events for almost every day. Of course few of them may not get enough interest, thus get cancelled: after all, not all days are suitable for our guys. So expect this as well please! PvE Midgame Phase-2: Training During these events we also realized that some of our members are having difficulties with their roles. As you know, our goal is to gradually move towards the endgame, and for that we need to train. That's why from time to time, some of you maybe approached and offered training sessions with one of our experienced members/officers. In such cases, please take a time to train, learn some bits from them and improve upon those. It's important not to join our events, but also finish them successfully; and for that, we will need functioning teams. Let's work together to overcome these obstacles and grow steadily towards success. Additionally, in our ESO Community News & Announcements forum, you can find tons of videos for all classes from AlcastHQ.com - one of the few leading Meta build websites out there. Please check the ones for your classes and train as much as you can. Guild Hall (@Glevissig's primary housing) has necessary Training Dummy in it. Guild Housing Additions I also added some useful items to our Guild Hall, such as Transmutation Station, Julianos Clothier Station, Provisioning Station, Atronach Mundus stone etc. More info can be found in the dedicated topic here. Miscellaneous Topics As I did last week, I recommend all members to have ESO-Database.com addon installed. We will have guild statistics streamed to the related website, which is nice to have. This addon is absolutely light-weight and will keep working in the background automatically. Additionally, we will need streamers for our Youtube and Twitch channels. You will be provided with XSplit license. Let me know if you are interested. Also, I invite all our members to wearing our Guild Tabard, which can be purchased from our Guild Store (using Banker NPCs). I designed it to have as less detail as possible, in order to fit as many outfits as possible. Just give it a try! Last but not least, as always, I would welcome new Social officers to help me with recruitment efforts. Someone who can interview candidates before joining and guide them along the way - from interview, to registration, to guild invitation, giving information to them about us whenever they need. Let me know if you are interested: there will be 30-day trial period in your current rank, if all goes well, you will be promoted to Officer position at the end of the period. That's all folks! Thanks for reading and see you ingame! -- Gelmir
  3. Greeting fellow guildies! It's nice meeting you guys in yet another issue of our weekly guild newsletter. Let's start... Welcome, New Members! This week we had nice recruitment streak, recruiting several new members. Most of these guys - namely, @Aionna, @DeadlyDag, @Macleress, @chuckles, @Jock_Lander, @Bloodhill and @Stammy9933 - have joined us. Welcome, guys! Handful few others who have registered at forums will soon join us as well. Additionally, one of our oldies - @neaNicu - has rejoined us, bringing couple of his friends with us: @Peaceruler , @Kwuiq and @Bl13. Welcome folks! Regular Guild Events As you know, our new guild direction is going through small-scale tough content, at the end creating skilled, tightly knit group of players, who hopefully one day form a successful and self-sustaining veteran trials Raid Core. To that end, I've been scheduling events on our guild calendar in a regular basis. In past week, we managed to tackle the first boss of Scallercaller DLC dungeon alongside with veteran Dragonstar Arena, not to mention the blast we had yesterday in Imperial City Sewers. Both were fun runs and we gained some experience in these content. As we grow in numbers and as our existing new players level up, I believe the attendance rate of these scheduled guild activities will also increase. For upcoming days, I will be scheduling events more effectively, as I found a source where daily pledges schedule can be learned, ahead of time. Please vote in the poll on forums (to determine what days are best for you) and sign up on events whenever you can. I will also be announcing these events on Discord through #announcements. Guild House Project In addition to these events, we also have our Guild Housing project ongoing. As you know, past December we purchased Earthtear Cavern as our guild hall and since then we've been striving to decorate it with useful tools and items. We still need more in this regard. Please check the link for more info! Miscellaneous Topics Furthermore, I recommend all members to use ESO-Database.com addon installed. We will have guild statistics streamed to the related website, which is nice to have. This addon is absolutely light-weight and will keep working in the background automatically. Additionally, we will need streamers for our Youtube and Twitch channels. You will be provided with XSplit license. Let me know if you are interested. Last but not least, as always, I would welcome new Social officers to help me with recruitment efforts. Let me know if you are interested: there will be 30-day trial period in your current rank, if all goes well, you will be promoted to Officer position at the end of the period. That's all folks! Thanks for reading! -- Gelmir
  4. Hello fellas! Welcome to yet another Guild Report (formerly known as a "newsletter", but unfortunately I don't have time to make these a weekly thing, so from now on, I will do them whenever there is enough to report)! We have a lot to cover, so let's start! Welcome to Fresh Blood! Since my last report weeks ago, a horde of players have joined us: some remained, some left. From those who have remained, it's my pleasure to welcome @Kevj331701, @DarkSideDany, @WeirdNoodle, @oranje-elf, @TheDjLexx, @Gavin, @Beacze, @Nitrius, @Niraito, @Adrianell, @Beefy, @TheConcept, @nmshadey, @saladin649, @Riis, @Znowman and @Bigevilpeter! We also had two recruits who joined us for future Ashes of Creation: @freezebe, @Ashira. Welcome guys! Furthermore, @Gavin has joined our officer team as a Social Officer responsible of our members below Champion Level 200. Together with him, we will be organizing events for these members to give them opportunity to level faster, to farm/craft necessary gear they might need and get ready for our events as soon as possible. These events will be organized on-fly, rarely being scheduled on Calendar. So, if you are below CP-200, please coordinate with Gavin to get these events planned. Thanks Gavin, for reaching out with this proposition to help and then doing so! And @Knight30 - our former Training PvE Officer has returned to the game full-time. Welcome back mate! He will be assisting @Gavin and @mooslacker with training of our "low-levels". PvE Midgame Phase-1: Regular Veteran DLC Dungeon and Dragonstar Arena Runs In short, it's working out greatly! We have had events going on in the guild for several weeks now (since we started all this), almost everyday, with great success! Most of these events also get streamed and reviewed by attendees, for the rest of the guild to enjoy! Please keep signing up for these events as much as possible! And my sincerest thanks to everyone who participated! Thank you guys! Special thanks goes to @mooslacker for joining our Officer team as a PvE Officer and helping to organize these events - You have been great help mate! Although we have been having great time with our events, some members are noticeably not joining them! So, since last week, I have been sending final warning/request messages to such members, asking them to join our events as required. If you happen to be one such member, please try to join our guild runs in more regular fashion: many people are working on making this guild flourish in ESO, specifically in PvE department - so any support from our members will mean a million to us! In our ESO Community News & Announcements forum, you can find tons of videos for all classes from AlcastHQ.com and Woeler.EU - the leading Meta build websites out there. Please check the ones for your classes and train as much as you can. Guild Hall (@Glevissig's primary housing) has necessary Training Dummy in it. Additionally, as we strive to run parallel groups for our events, we need more flexible Healers and Tanks to train and join our events as soon as possible. By "flexible" I mean players who at least have two roles: either Tank/Healer duo or Tank/DD, Healer/DD ones. That's because when raiding time approaches, we will need 1-2 tanks maximum, for each raid group, i.e. most of these new tanks will have to fill other roles as well. All this in mind, we decided to have some starting standards for you guys: Tanks joining our DLC Dungeons/vDSA runs should have ~35k HP with food, ~25k both Resistances with self buffs. Full set of Torug's Pact (or if you have been doing nTrials with PUGs, Roar of Alkosh) should be worn, with Infused weapon and Glyph of Crushing on main bar. Healers on the other hand, should have 17k HP with a consumable, with Lightning Staff (Charged enchant) in backbar. Around 30k Magicka with consumable, and of course full compliment of either Worm Cult or Spell Power Cure sets. Finally DDs need the same amount of HP as Healers (17k HP with consumable). 15k DPS on a Dummy Skeleton, sustained for at least 5 minutes. Without Elemental Drain or any other buffs normally used by other group members. Do not enchant Glyph of Crushing on anything. The tank will run it. To achieve these initial goals, we will be training - @Gavin and @Knight30 will be organizing training sessions, gear farming and what not to help you achieve this first milestone. Please cooperate with them to achieve greater results. Additional Tools for PvE Coming Soon! By @mooslacker's advice, I started working on a custom Planner we will be using soon, with all whistles and bells integrated into it (forum signin integrated, class/gear sets incorporated etc). Using this future tool, the goal is to have better organized events, with best role/class group composition. More news on this one will be released soon! Wish us good luck! Guild Hall (@Glevissig's Primary Housing) As I stated before in the dedicated Guild Hall topic, we have numerous coolness installed in our Guild Hall. Sturdy Training Dummy, Transmutation Station, Torug's Pact Smithing and Julianos' Clothier Stations, plus Enchanting and Provisioner Stations are few to name. Additionally, we need some mats to craft housing items - primarily simple Style Materials (such as Magnesium, Obsidian etc) and Daedra Hearts. -- Gelmir
  5. Hello Lodge! Here goes the next issue of our Weekly Newsletters, for the current Week #11. Enjoy! Welcome New Guys! First of all, let's welcome our new members to the Lodge: @Tigorner, @Ante, @Nerfmysorc, @Dukeofverron and @Crystallize115 have joined our ranks. Welcome guys! ESO: Small-Scale, Hard-Difficulty Events to be Scheduled As I already mentioned several times already through various means, our current plan is to grow as a Social guild who would focus on small-scale, yet relatively hard-difficulty group content. The goal is to create a community of players who have extensively played together doing challenging stuff, thus paving the way towards the ultimate thing: veteran trials. So overall, Lodge's presence in ESO will go down this path from this point on, meaning all our members - including our social roster - are expected to participate in these events (please do consider this as membership requirement). Our new members have been recruited with these goals and plans in mind, and I ask our few remaining regular oldies as well to support us in this goal. We won't be requiring people joining these events every day, or certain numbers of days in a week - but please make sure your participation, even if it's once a week, becomes noticable. To that end, starting this week, we will be creating such events on our Calendar. For starters, I created a poll which, in the end, would determine what days best suit the guild for these activities. Please vote in that poll (which also is available on forums homepage). So what these relatively hard-difficulty content are? Generally following are considered as such: Veteran Dragonstar Arena, Veteran Dungeons Achievement farming, Imperial City & Imperial Sewers farming (faction based), DLC Veteran Dungeons which are harder and take longer to conquer, Skyreach in Craglorn, Some hard Public Dungeon achievement runs which might be hard for some members (personally I cleared them all solo though) and similar. This list can be extended of course, but I am sure everyone gets the idea. By recruiting more members and together doing these stuff, I believe we will have more natural growth as a guild, towards the establishment of vTrials Raid Core. That's all! Thanks everyone and see you in-game!
  6. Hello Lodge! It's been quite a while since I dispatched our weekly newsletter - to be precise, 4 weeks now. Sorry for that, but we didn't really have anything to report, as things have been slow lately. So, here goes what Lodge leadership has to say for the current week Note: Bold style within the text generally outlines the main concepts and points of our current status, activities and goals. General Community News First of all, I'd like to welcome our newcomers: @TheSilverHawk, @Caruth, @mooslacker. Welcome folks! Secondly, thankfully as of late our Discord got chattier. And to make things even sweeter, I added two bots to Discord: one for ESO and one for GW2. Read here for more info on those. ESO: Recruiting Strong As some of you already noticed, we are trying to strengthen our ranks and try to grow in more natural way, rather than forcing our way through projects - primarily PvE Raid Core. The long-term goal is to populate the guild with sociable memberbase who would do activities together, specifically hard, non-trial related content. Good examples to these kinds of events are DLC Dungeon runs, General achievement runs in dungeons and otherwise, Imperial City and Imperial Sewers runs etc. These are stuff most players in general don't get chance to try. So I decided to grow our Social roster and strengthen this side of the guild before actually jumping to anything vastly serious. Of course, PvE Raid Core recruitment is also still on, albeit relatively slow. ESO: Current Status As of now, our de facto Guild Housing (my primary housing) - Earthtear Cavern - has Outfit station alongside with Sturdy Skeleton Dummy placed in it. In very near future I will be installing Attuned Crafting and Transmutation Stations there as well. Please feel free to donate housing stuff to our Guild Bank, more about that here. Currently we are around 15 regulars playing in a daily basis - I cleaned the roster from long-absent members, which downed its size to 30+ members. GW2: Things Are Slow Since I have to allocate most of my free time to ESO, I am afraid things at GW2 side became a lot slower than they already were. For that I apologize to our new recruits who joined our GW2 guild. For upcoming month, I regret to say I am not planning on working on GW2 side of things. Of course the guild isn't disbanded in GW2, but it's not active either. Hopefully after couple of months I will get chance to revisit it again. If some of our GW2 members decide to leave the guild, but would like to remain a part of our community, please drop me a line on forums or Discord - I will make necessary arrangements (i.e. won't delete your accounts, also making sure you don't get any unnecessary emails from us either - except news pertaining us launching new guilds in new MMOs). Eyes on Bless Online As you know we plan to be in Ashes of Creation when it launches, but that thing is years away from now. For this year, I plan to test upcoming Bless Online when it launches - if it proves to be rich with features, non P2W and aligning with our traditional guild goals and style, I might launch Lodge there as well. But this is something like not-so-short-term planning and it all depends on what BO will come to be. That's it I guess... Thanks for reading and see ya folks in-game! -- Gelmir
