Helpfull things you may not know about

I don't think you can wear 2x 3 piece sets with the same bonus and expect them to stack. Most of the later crafted bonus sets also have a 5 piece bonus so you would have a 5 +1 set up? I did hear talk in the beta that some people were going to try for 3x 3 piece sets with different bonuses to see if that works. You would of course have to go dual wield or sword and board for this to work as staves, bows and so on take up 2 slots. Not sure what bonus you are looking for that should stack? Night's Silence for example "3 Items While Hidden, increase Health Regeneration by 40%." Are you hoping for 80% health regen when hidden? I suggest making a low level gear set and trying it out... 2 traits and some low level mats should be pretty easy to get. I crafted a 3 piece Whitestrake's Retribution last night just because I could. http://wiki.tesotools.com/index.php/Crafted_Item_Sets

    patch v1.0.6

I killed 3 public dungeon bosses last night... and got nothing.... In public dungeons I usually run through with a resto staff and just follow someone in heavy plate and there are so many people standing around on the bosses spawn. Does healing with the occasional heavy strike on the boss not put me in the "eligible for loot" table? How does the game decide who gets loot and who doesn't?
  4. Thanks, it was very important to me that I : Could play a dunmer because I absolutely love the race Could explain why he/she would be part of the Aldmeri Dominion I enjoy reading stories about people with flaws and how despite their flaws can overcome obstacles and do what is "right". Raistlin Majere for example. “Shuddering Tanis stepped back. Raistlin gave the drawstring on the top of the bag a quick jerk, snapping it shut. Then, glancing at them distrustfully, he slipped the bag within his robes, secreting it in one of his numerous hidden pockets, and begun to turn away. But Tanis stopped him. "Things can never again be the same between us, can they?" the half-elf asked quietly. Raistlin looked at him for a moment, and Tanis saw a brief flicker of regret in the young mage's eyes, a longing for trust and friendship and return to the days of youth. "No," Raistlin whispered. "But such was the price I paid.†Everyone has their own agenda some are just more subtle about letting you in on the plan. ;D Anyway Sal is a flawed Mer (aren't we all?) and even I don't know what kind of Mer Sal will be at the end of his journey. *Possible Spoilers* Sometimes, like in Grahtwood, he shows mercy and helps the downtrodden displaced Argonians. Other times he exacts revenge based on topics he would only know about through reading and rumor, those Bosmer who betrayed the Green Pact for example. I thought long and hard about this quest last night, why would a dunmer give two flying rats corpses about Bosmer and the Green Pact? It was pretty difficult to make a decision that would stay in character. In the end I based my decisions on the grounds why the 3 Bosmer did what they did and acted accordingly.

    Welcome Tyronus
  6. Oh come on, everyone else has put their foot in it today, you might as well too.
  7. Spoken like a true Khajit. I agree with your perspective argument, my view is colored through my past experiences. I cannot deny what I have lived through and reach a total state of objectivity. What I can do is realise that my perspective may be influenced and take that into account when observing. I can try to work against it if you may, it may not always work but I should be aware that it is there. @Gelmir I have never met a more intolerant type than those involved in National Socialism (NaZi). Where I come from Neo-Nazi is the same word for white supremist, they are not known for being very tolerant of other colors, religions and cultures. There are messages out there that yes I may not want to hear but due to freedom of speech may have to listen to but it does no good to anyone here to promote those kind of messages. What's next videos where Homosexuality is considered a sickness from which someone can be cured?
  8. I agree that we have left the realm of gaming but I can't help but wonder why the video was posted in the first place if you didn't want a discussion? Considering you are the Guild Master, I would like to know what the head of the organisation thinks about the Holocaust. This is whole discussion is giving me a really weird feeling.
  9. Truth? What is Truth? Who's truth? As has been observed History is written by the winning side, at what time does history become truth? Take a look up in the sky tonight and count the stars, realise how insignificant we ALL are on a Galactic scale and then ask yourself how much of all this will really matter in 100 or 1000 years. In 100 years from now who will be interested in finding out the "Truth" about the holocaust? I've been the giving hand of injustice in the past. It takes broader shoulders than mine to carry the weight of what Mankind has done to one another since we crawled out of our caves. I've learned to live one day at a time and concentrate on me, how I affect others and their lives. Rooting in the cellars of mankind's past looking for hidden connections and meanings is going to make our lives better in what way?
  10. mmmh Bacon... Oh you didn't mean that kind of Bacon? On a serious note, people are going to believe what they want to believe. Good, bad, indifferent. When someone sticks a knife into me my blood has the same color as Gelmir's and Tyronus' and it is way past time that we stop talking about what separates us as HUMANS and concentrate more on what we have in common.

Worries about the future of TESO

Does the criticism people have for TESO bother you, does it influence you, do you think it's justified? Do you think it will fare better or worse then e.g. SWTOR and for what reasons? Do you even care about this stuff (the possibility of this game failing in the end and putting Bethesda and its games I so love in a bad spot, not to mention the impact it might have on the future of TESO)? I don't usually bother with reviews or youtube, I think that is a generational thing and perhaps if I was 20 years younger I would look there first before buying. I use media and the internet to find out what is out there but when the so called reporters start telling me their opinions I turn it off. I make my own opinions and if they coincide with some guy on the internet fine, if not well that is fine too. I think that some of the criticism is justified, I was in the beta, I had access to the PTS and many of the problems that made it into release were known in Beta. To fix them all they would have had to push the release date back and no one wants that. I haven't found anything that is game breaking but many people use this phrase incorrectly imo. I don't really know what ZoS is expecting as a return on investment. I think Bethesda is ready to bankroll a loss if need be because from all the gaming companies out there I feel they are the house with the most gamer heart left. If that makes any sense. A lot of people bitched about Skyrim and with the time that game got better and better. I feel positive that ZoS and Bethesda are going to do everything they possibly can to not lose that street credibility they have with us gamers. I am so confidante that this game is only going to get better (and really this is a matter of taste others might find it gets worse because they expected other things) that I have signed up for the 6 month sub plan. If I could I would buy a lifetime sub for 200€ Hell I played WoW almost every other night for 6 years, I do not want to add up what that cost. But you have to take this all with a grain of salt, this is only opinion based on conjecture and a gut feeling YMMV. I guess my question is: Are you satisfied so far? (Why is it the most precise way to put my question always occurs to me only after some huge post I made while I should have been sleeping...) Reminds me of Gladiator "Are you not entertained?!" I am very satisfied and I feel good about the future of ESO but I play this game almost like I played Skyrim and am still only level 28 or so. I take it slow and listen to all the quest text. The difficulty level is just right, the exploration feels rewarding, I love the crafting. Hell I have a pet (horse) that I can develop into a walking wardrobe ;D I did play SWTOR to max level as a Sith Sorc Healer with a pocket tank. I enjoyed the journey but playing at release until it went F2P just didn't do it for me like WoW did all those years. Perhaps due to Space and laser beams?

    PvP Attendance Poll

Vet ranks make that much of a difference? I was afraid the bolstering mechanism would not deliver as advertised.

    account/character name

My MMORPG life started back in 2007 as an orc warrior named Drukor, I had no idea what the hell I was doing but it was fun. Prot warriors back then could survive anything but their dps was miserable. As I am kind of shy I had a hard time meeting new players and making friends . So on a whim I switched from Horde to Alliance and made a Night elf Hunter named Salvaenus. I was the typical huntard in the beginning until I met a fellow hunter named Grimm, he kind of took me under his wing and I flourished into a dps wrecking machine. Out of my former WoW chars name Salvaenus = Sal Van'is My account name is actually the name of my 2 children, Caleb and Zoe written backwards. I was astonished to realise later that I had spelled my son's name wrong and Baleceoz became Balaceoz. My advice don't create account names whilst drinking red wine.
